Better thinking, learning, and independence start with strengthening the cognitive "muscles" behind them.
Through 1:1 therapy and coaching, I specialize in untangling learning difficulties and executive function challenges, including those related to ADHD.
reading comprehension • procrastination • writing assignments • staying focused • follow-through • forgetting steps • listening
Your child's struggle to meet expectations in school or at home is not the problem—it's a warning sign.
Trouble "getting it together" in school and at home can often trace back to underlying gaps in a child's cognitive development.
This might look like trouble with reading comprehension, difficulty organizing their thoughts when speaking and writing, losing track of assignments, or taking forever to get started on tasks.
This is why I focus on three core elements:
Figuring out what is causing the surface-level challenge
Strengthening the underlying area of need
Giving your family the tools to support growth at home

getting started • time management • following directions • understanding • completing homework • study skills • reading fluency
In-depth evaluation + individualized therapy
1:1 Cognitive Speech Therapy
This signature service targets the root causes behind your child's persistent struggles with learning, reading, writing, and more.
We start with an evaluation to pinpoint where the breakdown is occurring. From there, I build a plan around your child's needs, and we work on it together in 1:1 sessions designed to strengthen their cognitive foundation for:
Reading
Spelling
Writing
Plus, you'll learn how to support this growth at home, making you an active partner in their development.
Listening
Speaking
Independence
This service is for you if:
-
You want to understand the why behind your child's struggle
-
You're ready to move beyond surface-level strategies to strengthen underlying skills
-
You want to be equipped to support your child's cognitive growth in daily life
Specialized guidance you can use right away
Focused Coaching Series
There’s no shortage of advice out there—but when your child still struggles with homework, follow-through, or daily routines, it can feel like no one’s addressing what’s really going on.
That's where I come in. Over three 45-minute video calls, spaced about two weeks apart, we'll focus on the one challenge causing the most friction and see it through:
Before we meet: Questionnaire. You'll share background and what you've already tried, so our first call starts with strategy, not starting from scratch.
Call 1: Understand & plan. We'll look at the patterns behind the struggle (it's rarely just "not trying hard enough") and build a realistic, brain-based plan your family can actually use.
Call 2: Troubleshoot. Once you've tried it at home, we'll look at what's working, what isn't, and why, then adjust.
Call 3: Check progress & look ahead. We'll measure what's changed, fine-tune the strategy, and map out what comes next so you can keep going on your own.
Note: This isn't an evaluation. It's specialized, practical support for the challenge in front of you right now. If I see signs that something deeper needs a closer look, I'll tell you whether an evaluation makes sense.
This service is for you if:
-
You're done trying generic advice that doesn't work for your child
-
There's one specific challenge (e.g., homework battles or a morning routine) that's taking over your family's day-to-day
-
You're looking for practical strategies and a little breathing room
-
You want support putting a plan into practice, not just hearing about it
