When it’s time to get to the root cause of persistent difficulty with
learning, follow-through & more:

COGNITIVE SPEECH THERAPY

(In-depth Assessment & Intensive Intervention)

If you're here, you've likely ...

Already tried accommodations, tutoring, or study strategies without seeing lasting improvement.

Maybe your child even had speech therapy or literacy support in elementary school, but was dismissed because they "no longer qualified" or "tested out"–-even though you can see they're STILL struggling with reading comprehension, writing assignments, and academic tasks that require complex thinking.

The truth is, students who received early intervention for speech, language, or literacy needs can continue to have subtle but significant gaps that impact their learning and performance throughout middle school, high school, and beyond.

These gaps often go unrecognized because they don't fit typical intervention profiles–- but they're absolutely real and absolutely treatable.

There are specific, identifiable cognitive skills that make learning, organization, and follow-through possible. When these "brain-based building blocks" have gaps, students struggle–-no matter how hard they try.

Instead of taking symptoms at face value

Cognitive speech therapy asks: "What's causing this problem, and how do we strengthen it?"

It's more than teaching study strategies or providing accommodations; we:

Identify the specific cognitive processes that aren't working optimally

.

Strengthen those underlying skills through targeted, intensive practice

.

Build lasting capacity that improves performance across all areas of life

.

This isn't about managing symptoms – it's about creating real, measurable change at the source.

Mom of an LLS student

"I wanted to better understand my son’s executive functioning to help him navigate multiple challengesYour approach to targeting the underlying areas of difficulty proved helpful.

Since working together, I’ve seen him grow in his self-awareness and approach challenges with more self-control and persistence
It’s been good to not navigate this alone."
